Kim & Reece's Sun-Soaked Wedding at Wildes Inns

There are wedding days, and then there are days like Kim and Reece's.

Held at the beautiful Wildes Inns on one of the hottest days of the summer, this was a celebration that had everything: blue skies from morning to night, around 100 guests dressed in their finest (and doing their best not to melt), a live singer keeping the atmosphere warm and joyful, and two people clearly, wonderfully in love.

A Sweltering July Day, But Nobody Minded

July delivered in full force for Kim and Reece. The sun didn't let up for a single hour, and while it meant a hot day for everyone in their wedding finery, it also meant golden light for almost every photograph and a relaxed, easy energy that carried through the entire day. Guests spilled out onto the grounds between the ceremony and reception, drinks in hand, taking full advantage of the weather rather than fighting it.

Wildes Inns is a gorgeous setting on a good day, but on a day like this one, with clear skies overhead and sunlight pouring across the grounds, it was hard to put the camera down.

If you're planning a wedding at Wildes Inns, or anywhere else, and want a photographer who'll be there capturing the real moments (the heat, the laughter, the dancing, all of it), I'd love to hear from you. Get in touch to check availability for your date.
